Cà Mau: Prices of shrimp are increasing
Prices of shrimp in Cà Mau are increasing after a while of dramatic decrease, bringing large profit to farmers, especially big size shrimps.
The covid-19 pandemic has badly impacted on Vietnam’s shrimp exports, resulting in a sharp decrease in white leg shrimp material over more than one month as compared to the same period last year.
Prices of white leg shrimp, which ranged at 73-75 thousand dong/kg on shrimps size 100 pcs/kg and 128 thousand dong/kg on shrimps size 30 pcs/kg last month, are increasing. In early April, prices of white leg shrimps are inching up, particularly, shrimps size 15 pcs/kg are sold at 244 thousand dong/kg, size 20 pcs/kg are at 202 thousand dong/kg, size 25 pcs/kg are at 169 thousand dong/kg, size 30 pcs/kg are at 132 thousand dong/kg and size 100 pcs/kg are at 90 thousand dong/kg.
