The system of fishing port, storm shelter in NghệAn has been built and improved, enabling the local fisheries industry to develop sustainably, protecting the water sovereignty and marine resources.
In the first ten months of 2020, more than 8,300 turns of fishing boats arrived at Cửa Hội, Lạch Vạn, Lạch Quèn and Quỳnh Phương ports with nearly 66,000 tons of seafood products being brought with.
Those fishing ports are able to provide fishing boats with full services such as 5,860m3 of fresh water, 4,360 tons of ice, 1,502,380 KW of electricity and diesel.
Upon the Decision no.27/QĐ.BNN.TCTS dated Jan 05, 2018 and Circular no.21/2018/TT-BNNPTNT dated Nov 15, 2018 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development regarding regulations of recording and handing in reports, logbooks, lists of illegal fishing boats, confirming materials, traceability certificates of wild-caught species, the Management Board of Nghệ An fishing port has recorded 4,967 tons of seafood output and collected logbooks of 16,171 turns of fishing boats.
