Through enormous investment into the field of pangasius breeds by Viet Uc Corporation, An Giang hopes to become a center of pangasius broodstocks production in the region and contribute to increasing the Vietnamese pangasius trademark.

Vice Chairman of An Giang provincial People’s Committee Trần Anh Thư said that An Giang was mounting efforts to restructure the pangasius sector so as to increase the value and create favorable conditions for enterprises to operate. When the circular economy model is built, the value of pangasius will rise without leaving any negative impacts on the water environment. What matters the most is all materials, even discharges, during the farming, processing and exportation must be used.
