Export revenue of Vinh Hoan Corp is at the highest in the fisheries

VASEP said that Vinh Hoan Corp ranked the first position in exporting seafood and pangasius in the first eight months, with nearly USD 294 million worth, up 70% from the same period last year.

According to VASEP, seafood exports reached nearly USD 1 billion in August, up 6% from July and 68% from the same period last year. The accumulated value of Vietnam’s seafood exports reached USD 7.6 billion, up 38% from the same period last year.

Shrimp exports reached over USD 3 billion, up 24% from the same period last year, accounting for 40% of the total seafood export value and pangasius exports reached USD 1.8 billion, up 81% and accounting for 23.5% of the total seafood export value. 

Tuna exports reached USD 729 million, up 55% from the same period last year and accounting for 9.5%. Exports of other marine fish brought in USD 1.35 billion, up 23% and accounting for 17%.

Vinh Hoan Corp ranked the first position in exports value of seafood and pangasius in the first eight months of the year, with nearly USD 294 million worth, up 70% as compared to the same period last year.

Many pangasius companies saw an increase in export value such as Bien Dong Seafood (up 36%), Nam Viet (up 52%), and Van Duc Tien Giang (up 50%).

Besides, shrimp and seafood businesses have seized market opportunities, leaving increases in export value. Soc Trang Seafood JSC Company increased by 17%, reaching USD 240 million, ranking in the top three seafood businesses, trailing Minh Phu Hau Giang, Cases, Fimex, and Thuan Phuoc with revenue increasing by 19-47%.

Other seafood businesses such as Hai Viet, Hai Long, Nha Trang, Bidifisco, and Hai Nam saw their revenue rising 19-56% as compared to the same period.
