According to the morning bulletin on November 8 of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the whole province recorded 77 F0 cases in the community on November 7, 30 of which were in Giá Rai town. These cases were detected through community screening tests and tracing of cases related to the chain infection of Tân Khởi company, Châu Bá Thảo company.
Previously, on November 7, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Bạc Liêu said that the development of the pandemic in the province was complicated because 106 positive cases for COVID-19 were detected in the community. In which, 43 cases were recorded through tracing and screening tests related to COVID-19 cluster at various seafood companies such as Tân Khởi Seafood Co., Ltd., Châu Bá Thảo Seafood Processing One Member Co., Ltd., Company, NIGICO Seafood Co., Ltd and RAIN BOW Production – Trading – Service Co., Ltd. All these companies are located in Giá Rai town.
