On September 27, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Phung Duc Tien, visited the affected area, offering support to fishermen. Essential resources like 1,000 HDPE buoys, 30 boats, and 1 million algae seedlings were provided to aid recovery. Though a small gesture, this initiative aims to boost morale and help fishermen rebuild their livelihoods.

Nguyen Thi Hai Binh, CEO of STP Group, also contributed by offering HDPE boats and introducing an interest-free payment system, allowing fishermen to pay in installments over two years. This initiative, along with traceable products and enhanced buoys, will help fishermen regain stability in their work.

Quang Ninh province has introduced favorable credit policies, providing nearly zero-interest loans and accessible funds to aid early production resumption. According to Phan Thanh Nghi, the province is focusing on two main areas for aquaculture recovery: legalizing sea leasing for investment and establishing standardized farming guidelines to enhance production efficiency.

With support from the government and local businesses, Quang Ninh’s fishermen can look forward to rebuilding their livelihoods and returning to sustainable production.
