The largest shrimp trade fair and forum in Southeast Asia in 2024 will take place in Vietnam next month.

VietShrimp will be held for the fifth time in Cà Mau province with the theme “Accompany with shrimp farmers” in March 2024.

VietShrimp 2024 is being organized earlier than planned, with an aim to create a forum for timely meetings, exchanges, and resolution of issues in the shrimp industry in Vietnam as well as the world.

The fair is a major forum for businesses, shrimp farmers, experts, scientists, and managers to share and propose solutions for sustainable development of the shrimp industry. It is also an opportunity to showcase the achievements of the seafood industry, promote trade connections, and expand cooperation.

VietShrimp has been successfully organized four times in 2016, 2018 (in Bạc Liêu province), and 2021, 2023 (in Cần Thơ city). It is one of the major events in the Vietnamese seafood industry and a regional and Asian-scale shrimp industry trade fair.

With the theme “Accompany with shrimp farmers,” VietShrimp 2024 will be a forum to find the most effective solutions to bring the Vietnamese shrimp industry back to a growth trajectory while realizing the goal of sustainable development. Specialized workshops of VietShrimp will take place on March 20 and 21, 2024, with the participation of managers, scientists, experts, and businesses dedicated to the Vietnamese shrimp industry.

VietShrimp 2024 is expected to have 250 pavilions from over 200 domestic and international businesses operating in all fields related to the seafood industry.
