Cà Mau to impose a fine of 60 million dong on trader transporting contaminated shrimps

A trader in Cà Mau has just been fined 60 million dong on a trader for transporting 430 kg of contaminated black tiger shrimp material.

On July 08, a new release from Cà Mau People’s Committee Office said that the Chairman had decided to put an administrative fine on a trader for transporting contaminated shrimps.

Võ Văn Ngờ, 33, at Quân Dân hamlet, Việt Thắng commune, Phú Tân district, Cà Mau province, was fined 60 million dong for collecting and transporting contaminated black tiger shrimp material.

He had been warned in a minutes set by Cà Mau Police’s Economic office for transporting 430 kg of contaminated black tiger shrimp on June 20.

Besides, he was fined 2.5 million dong for doing business without a registration certificate. 430 kg of contaminated black tiger shrimp was confiscated.
