Only companies that are approved by the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration are eligible to export seafood to Taiwan.
The Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) has just sent an official document to Vietnam Economic and Culture Office (VECO) in Taiwan notifying the list of Vietnam’s seafood companies eligible to export seafood to Taiwan.
VECO in Taiwan said that the listed exporters of alive crab were not different from the previously approved ones while there are up to 674 companies granted to sell seafood.
Those companies have been provided with identification numbers by TFDA for effective management.
Only listed companies are eligible to export seafood to Taiwan. The list became effective on July 10, 2020 at the time of departure of deliverables.
