TRI Company: Bringing High-Quality Wheat Gluten and Aquaculture Solutions to Vietnam at VietShrimp 2025

At VietShrimp 2025, TRI Company introduced its premium Vital Wheat Gluten, a high-protein, non-GMO product ideal for shrimp feed. With exclusive manufacturing contracts and a global presence, TRI aims to provide top-quality ingredients and efficient aquafeed solutions to support Vietnam’s growing seafood market.

Ms. Anastasia Onoprienko, Sales Manager at TRI, shares insights on their approach, product offerings, and vision for the Vietnamese market.

VFM: Can you introduce yourself and provide some information about your company?

Ms. Anastasia Onoprienko: My name is Anastasia, and I work at TRI Company as the Sales Manager. Our company supplies raw material ingredients and operates internationally, with offices in Turkey, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and Uzbekistan.

This global presence allows us to offer the best solutions for our clients, helping them source the finest ingredients while optimizing logistics, payment terms, banking processes, packaging, and product origin.

We primarily collaborate with manufacturing sites under exclusive contracts, meaning international sales can only be conducted through our company. This positions us as a key facilitator between manufacturers and clients.

Often, clients have specific needs that manufacturers may take a long time to fulfill. We bridge this gap by assisting both parties in finding the best solutions, arranging thirdparty laboratory testing, sourcing appropriate packaging, and solving complex logistical challenges.

VFM: What distinguishes your product from similar products on the market?

Ms. Anastasia Onoprienko: We believe that our vital wheat gluten offers a unique and valuable solution for the Vietnamese market. Our main Vital Wheat Gluten is sourced from Russia, our product meets European Union quality standards, is non-GMO, and is highly stable, ensuring superior consistency compared to other products currently available in the market. We are working for Vital Wheat Gluten origins also such as EU origin, other CIS countries origin to remain competitive and fulfill different requests from our clients.

Our product is rich in protein and amino acids, providing significant nutritional benefits for aquaculture and shrimp feed. We also offer a variety of packaging options, ranging from 25kg bags to 1000kg jumbo bags, and can arrange direct shipping via boat for added convenience.

In terms of pricing, we are confident that we offer the best rates on the market while maintaining top-notch logistics and flexibility. Additionally, we are committed to providing third-party lab test results from GAFTAapproved labs, ensuring full transparency and quality control.

What truly sets us apart is our commitment to 100% contract execution. Our focus is on building long-term partnerships, ensuring reliability and consistency in every transaction. While our vital wheat gluten is a key offering, we also have a wide range of products available through our various global offices, enabling us to meet the diverse needs of our customers. This flexibility and commitment to customer satisfaction make us an ideal
partner for the Vietnamese market.

VFM: How do you assess the seafood market in Vietnam?

Ms. Anastasia Onoprienko: We mostly assess vital wheat gluten market, not the seafood market specifically. For vital wheat gluten, we know that consumption in Vietnam is huge, around 30,000 metric tons per year. A significant portion of that, perhaps half, is used for aquafeed, particularly for seafood and shrimp feed. We might be slightly off in our numbers as we are new to the market and still assessing the shrimp and seafood sectors.

However, we are aware that the Vietnamese market is highly competitive, with many end users, shrimp farms, and large companies involved in shrimp production. We understand that last year, the output of aquaculture in Vietnam was around 5 million tons—a huge number. This is driven by both domestic and export
consumption, with shrimp and pangasius being the main products. That’s why we’re here—we know that our
vital wheat gluten and other products, like fish meal, fish oil, and krill meal, are used for shrimp feed by our clients in other markets. And I think that covers everything for that question.

VFM: At VietShrimp 2025, what product does your company want to introduce here?

Ms. Anastasia Onoprienko: At VietShrimp 2025, our company plans to introduce our Vital Wheat Gluten as the main product. We believe this product is ideal for the Vietnamese market, particularly for shrimp farming, as it
contains the essential amino acids needed for high-quality aquafeed. Once we establish a strong presence with Vital Wheat Gluten, we also plan to introduce other products, such as krill meal.

Krill meal is rich in protein and amino acids, making it another excellent choice for shrimp feed. We have already secured a supplier and manufacturing contract for this product, and we are excited to introduce it to the Vietnamese market after Vital Wheat Gluten has been fully established.

VFM: Is this the first time your company is participating in VietShrimp? How do you evaluate the event this year?

Ms. Anastasia Onoprienko: It’s our first time, and it’s been pretty busy, which we really enjoy. We’ll probably have more detailed thoughts about the exhibition after all three days, but so far, our expectations are very high. If I could suggest something, it would be to have more detailed information about ingredients or a clearer focus on companies and suppliers, especially those involved in packaging. A little more zoning and organization would make everything perfect.

Thank you for your insights!
