“Vietnam Seafood Gold Quality” title for the fourth time

As usual, this time the title was given to a maximum of 100 typical enterprises, individuals, groups in the fishery sector, a ceremony launching heard on March 31st 2017 in Hà Nội, which held by Vietnam Fishery Society and the Vietnam Fishery Magazine.

This event is held every two years and a half since 2009. This time the title continuously selected basing on the four criteria including economic efficiency, social efficiency, application of science and cutting-edge technology in production and ecological environment and natural resources protection. The title “Vietnam Seafood Gold Quality” not only gives a driving force for groups, individuals, enterprises operating in the fishery sector to produce positively, contribute into local economic development  and protect sovereignty of territorial waters, but also motivate scientists to make research activities, apply cutting-edge technology in production, aimed to reach economic efficiency, high competiveness within global economic integration.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fisheries Society Nguyễn Việt Thắng also confirmed that the launching ceremony to vote the title “Vietnam Seafood Gold Quality” was held with the desire to choose the excellent individuals and businesses who conduct Vietnam seafood industry through sustainable development. Time for register takes place from April 1st to May 30th. The title will be honored at a  ceremony in the last June this year.
