Seafood products fairs will be held in Hà Nội from October 6-10, a representative of the Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development told a press conference last week.
Following the success of a Vietnamese pangasius and aquatic products exhibition in the city in 2017, the seafood fair will take place from October 6-10, Đào Văn Hồ, director of the Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture, said.
Hồ described the event as a good opportunity to maintain the sustainable production and consumption of Vietnamese products, promote domestic trade and consumption, and attract investment in aquaculture.
Apart from fresh seafood such as pangasius, shrimp, cuttlefish and octopus, the fair will also showcase equipment and materials used for aquaculture, and feed for aquatic products and support services, he said.
In addition, a seminar with theme “Boosting domestic market” will be organised within the framework of the fair.
