The country’s premier international shrimp industry show, Vietshrimp 2018, will take place in Bạc Liêu province in late April 2018 with an expected 200 exhibitors.
At press conference on August 16th, Nguyễn Việt Thắng, the chairman of Việt Nam Fisheries Society, head of the organizing board said: continuing the success of the first shrimp international fair in last year (Vietshrimp 2016), contributing to reach the shrimp export target of USD 10 billion by 2025; Vietshrimp 2018 will be organized by Việt Nam Fisheries Society and Việt Nam Fisheries Magazine, directed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Bạc Liêu province people’s committee with the theme “change to succeed”.
Vietshrimp 2018 is the event where Vietnamese and overseas companies operating mainly in the fields of breeding, stock farming, feed production, probiotics, animal health, machine demonstrations in practice etc. come together with the purpose of unveiling their latest technologies, products and services in both shrimp industry and aquaculture. The fair is expected to draw about 200 exhibitors booths. At the event, international aquaculture conferences and seminars will be held. Domestic and international experts will discuss shrimp and aquaculture topics, including the use of technologies in breeding and processing products.
Vietshrimp 2018 is the event where aquaculture companies introduce their brands and products to partners and consumers, while farmers will have a chance to update their knowledge and seek markets and technologies and scientists seek better way to farm shrimp. It’s also a way to promote the image of local shrimp products abroad.
Vietshrimp 2018: 27 – 29/4/2018 will be taking place at the Cao Văn Lầu theater, Hùng Vương square, Dist.1, Bạc Liêu province.
