On September 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, GenoMar Genetics Vietnam Co., Ltd. was honored with the title “Asia’s Top Trusted Brand Awards 2025”, organized by the Vietnam Union of Science for Enterprise Development and presented by Business & Trade Magazine.
The award is a well-deserved recognition of GenoMar’s tireless efforts in advancing high-quality tilapia broodstock development and contributing to the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s aquaculture industry.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Trung – General Director of GenoMar Genetics Vietnam – affirmed that this milestone underscores the company’s credibility and commitment to providing disease-free, high-performing, and environmentally friendly broodstock.
“This award is a great source of motivation for us to continue innovating, improving, and accompanying Vietnam’s aquaculture sector toward sustainable development,” Mr. Trung emphasized.
GenoMar Genetics Vietnam, a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, is a subsidiary of GenoMar Genetics AS (Norway) – a global pioneer in tilapia genetics research and breeding programs. With its production center based in Tay Ninh Province, the company currently operates at a capacity of over 120 million fry per year.
The 35th-generation GenoMar tilapia line has been developed through advanced genetic improvement, well adapted to Vietnam’s farming conditions. The fish feature outstanding traits such as robust health, resistance to Streptococcus infections, up to 30% higher survival rates, faster growth, and superior fillet yield, helping farmers reduce costs and enhance profitability.
